TRAILER: Sita Ramam – Starring Dulquer Salmaan, Rashmika Mandana and Mrunal Thakur
SITA RAMAM – an enthralling epic love story set amidst the backdrop of a war.
We get a glimpse of Lieutenant Ram’s (Dulquer Salmaan) life as an orphan and what happens after he receives a letter from Sita in this trailer. After the letter, there comes a meeting that ultimately leads to love. Following a great time together, the couple must endure separation as the army officer departs for his assignment in Kashmir. He attempts to compose a letter to his lover, but it never gets there.
Rashmika Mandanna (Afreen) and Tharun Bhascker are tasked with delivering this letter to Sita after almost two decades. Since they are unable to locate her, they decide to look for Ram instead. It turns out to be more challenging than locating Sita, though. The main obstacle is Brigadier Vishnu Sharma, Ram’s superior (Sumanth).
Sita Ramam will release in theatres in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam on the 5th of August.
