Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are visiting temples as husband and wife seeking blessings after getting married on June 9 in Mahablipuram. The newly wed were recently seen visiting the Chettikulangara Devi temple in Kerala.

Recently, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan caused a stir when they visited Tirupati wearing shoes within the shrine for photo shoots. The temple board issued them a legal notice. However, Vignesh Shivan apologised in writing, saying, “We were unaware that we were wearing shoes in a place where doing so was prohibited since we assumed that if the people spotted us, they would encircle us. We are sorry for the trouble. In the past month, we have travelled to Tirupati five times in an effort to get married there. Our wedding could not be held at the Tirupati temple for a variety of reasons.”

The pair got married on June 9th, at Mahablaipuram in a lavish wedding ceremony, with Super Star Rajinikanth presiding over thaali to Vignesh Shivan.
